Hello I realize this sounds a bit weird. But i am really stuck on finding the correct translation for "(human) husk". This is for a horror story i am writing in Japanese. And i really don't want it to be one of those horrible badly translated stories.
I have been thru several sites and dictionary's, but it doesn't seem like there is a direct translation.
Does it not exist a good translation in Japanese?
Here is what i have narrowed it down to. But hopefully someone knows a better word, or if one of these are correct.
皮 (kawa) -more like leather but also husk (?) 皮革 (hikaku)-but also more like leather 殻 (kara) - more like shell
It would also be grate if you can tell me how well you know Japanese (If you are a beginner, teacher, advanced etc. It would help a lot^^)
