Hello, i'm new here, and also inexperienced at japanese. I have a question about how to tell which matter i'm graduating, or what is my profession. Actually i've been searching for answers on the internet, reading in the dictionary, but.. When i was trying to build my sentence, something's sounded very wrong to me, i mean, see if it's too odd or even right: In this case, i'm graduating as an english teacher, so, i imagined something like it in japanese, eigo no kyoushi iru ni mukatte benkyou shimasu, in my complete delirium i imagined i was saying "I'm studying to be an english teacher" Thus, how can i tell it in a better way than this? I think that sounds too odd, too wrong. Can somebody help me? I think i've mistaken the meaning of this preposition "ni mukatte" and also i've probably mistaken the usage of the verb iru(To go) in the infinitive form.
