I have often seen 'ni' used with あと. Are these particles interchangeable when used with あと?

1) やきゅうのあとで あってください。(YAKYUU NO ATO DE ATTE KUDASAI)
= Please see me after baseball.
2) やきゅうのあとに あってください。(YAKYUU NO ATO NI ATTE KUDASAI)
= Please see me (right) after baseball.
There is a slight difference between the above sentences.
As for #1, the speaker is asking if the listener can see him/her sometimes after baseball.
It doesn't have to be "right" after baseball.
When あとに (ATO NI) is used, the speaker wants to see him/her soon after baseball.
