(sorry this question is supposed to be on course 2 but I don't have access)
I'm confused about the words "tsumaranai" and "taikutsu(na)".
If I say : Watashi wa tsumaranai/taikutsu desu. Is it "I'm boring" or "I'm bored" ?
How to make the difference between boring and bored ?
Thank you !

It all depends on the context. Let me give you some example conversations first.
1)Talking about boyfriends
(TANAKA-SAN NO KARE WA DONNA HITO DESUKA)
= What kind of person is your boyfriend, Ms. Tanaka?
(KARE WA TSUMARANAI HITO DESU YO)
= He is boring (a boring person).
2)Talking about toys.
(TAIKUTSU DA) = I am bored.
(KINOU KATTA OMOCHA WA DOUSHITANO?)
= What happened to the toy that you bought yesterday?
(ARE WA TSUMARANAI YO) = That one is boring.
3) What is boring? / Why are you bored?
(TSUMARANAI NA) = I am bored./ It is boring.
B: なにが？(NANI GA?) = (You are bored with) what? / What is boring?
*B does not know what A is talking about (since there is no subject in A's sentence.)
(GAKKOU. MOU IKITAKUNAI YO)
= School. I don’t want to go anymore.
I hope this helps :)
